Our Volunteer Guides
The volunteer guides displayed to the right are designed to help you to prepare for your volunteer trip and to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible for you. We want you to have a fantastic time, so we have created these guides to help you get ready to do so! These guides should be read in conjunction with the site section on preparing yourself as it is important that you try to organise yourself as soon as you commit yourself to a volunteer travel experience in another country.
All of these guides have been prepared using previous experience as a volunteer abroad and with some careful thought. We cannot guarantee that they cover every possible detail but we do hope and believe they will be invaluable help to you and for your important trip preparations. Read through them carefully, it shouldn't take too long just to read them, and jot a few notes down if you think it will help you to be more organised.
What do the Guides contain?
As you can see, each guide relates to a particular aspect of your preparation. They all contain relatively short articles giving you some important and helpful advice as well as a few good tips. Many of the guide also provide links to further useful resources for the volunteer making them fairly comprehensive help companions as you get ready to leave.
