Anyone can volunteer, whether leaving school, university, taking a gap year or a career break, or even after retirement. It is an exciting experience which can leave you with some fantastic memories and a big sense of achievement.
Our aim is to enthuse you about volunteering abroad and guide you along the way with all the stuff that you need to do before you go and beyond.
We hope and aim to be your number one resource for helping you decide if volunteering is for you and show you what preparations you need to make should you take the plunge and decide to volunteer!
Our aim is to be informative, helpful and give advice based upon our own experiences of volunteering. Everything we have learned we will pass on here and hope that it will be of lots of use to future volunteers.
The main area of focus is towards volunteering abroad as we feel that this is where more help and information is useful, however, that is not to say that there is not useful tips for those who intend to volunteer in their own country!
